At WELARC, we help newcomers access language classes. We can refer you to English or French classes where you can work on improving your language skills for work, education, and life in Canada.

We use the Canadian Language Benchmark Placement Test (CLBPT) and the Batterie de tests de classement des niveaux de compétence linguistiques canadiens (BTC-NCLC).

Before you make an appointment at WELARC, read these common questions.

To register for an appointment, you can:

call WELARC at 204-943-5387 and leave a clear message with your name, phone number, and reason for calling
email info@welarc.net and include your name, phone number, and reason for emailing

We will return your phone call or email as soon as possible.

come to 275 Portage Avenue floor 4 from 10:00am-11:45am OR 2:00pm-3:30pm

Bring your:

immigration document (PR card OR landing paper, OR work permit)

AND

something with your address (health card, driver's license or rental lease)
