Citizens and Citizenship Applicants

I am a Canadian Citizen. Can I take free English classes?

Unfortunately, we do not provide services to Canadian citizens. However, there are some class options to improve your English language skills and prepare for the CELBAN test. Here is an updated list of informal English classes and free conversation circles for clients who are not eligible to take federally-funded English classes.

I want to become a Canadian Citizen. Can I use my Canadian Language Benchmark Placement Test results for my citizenship application?

No. The Canadian Language Benchmark Placement Test is NOT an accepted proof of language proficiency for citizenship. If you attend classes and obtain a LINC Certificate, you can use it as proof of language proficiency.
